Three weeks ago, over the same distance, this horse performed well despite a slow start, settling towards the back of the field with a steady pace. It made a late run under pressure from La Stella to finish third, beaten by one and a half lengths. This time, it carries only a 2lb rise in weight. The opposition in its group doesn’t appear strong, but it has drawn an outside barrier which isn't ideal. Although previously victorious over this distance twice, capable of tracking the pace-setters, it is not considered a leading contender in this race.
