However, it maintained a steady pace with moderate momentum, securing third place beaten by two and a half lengths. This time carrying a 3lb weight reduction, having previously won twice at this distance, and with comparable times amongst rivals, the horse has potential for an early lead. The barrier draw isn’t unfavorable, and the jockey Zac Purton understands the horse's temperament well; trainer and jockey have mutual trust, training is positive, and a smooth jump combined with intent to lead should see improvement.
