March 28th (Conghua turf trial, 1200m: 2nd in the first section, 2nd in the second, 4th overall), tracked closely behind the leader, remained untested. March 10th (Conghua turf trial, 1000m: 3rd in the first section, 4th in the second, 4th overall) showed some improvement with strong urging, finishing fast. February 28th (Conghua turf trial, 1200m: 2nd in the first section, 2nd in the second, 5th overall) tracked closely but lacked focus. February 10th (Conghua turf trial, 1000m: 6th in the first section, 6th in the second, 7th overall) settled comfortably and maintained a relaxed pace. October 22nd (dirt trial 1200m: 9th in the first section, 9th in the second, 3rd overall), slightly slow to jump but made progress along the rail on the straight. Ran over this same distance prior to June, with an underwhelming performance; settled well tracking the leaders at a steady pace but lacked a strong turn of foot. After a long break, has completed five barrier trials and is showing slight improvement. This race benefits from a two-pound weight reduction, however draws an unfavorable outside barrier. Fortunately faces optimal competition and possesses the ability to track the leading pace setters; capable of adopting a frontrunning position with a clean start and committed tracking, should comfortably secure a forward position.
