On February 24th, a turf trial at Conghua over 1600m saw the horse take an early lead and maintain a consistent pace. Two months prior, in a Sha Tin 1400m race, performance was poor; a slow start saw it settle towards the back before attempting to make ground in the middle stages but ultimately finishing well-beaten. Following a short break, a recent barrier trial showed moderate form. Now stepping up to a Sha Tin 1600m, running this distance for the first time with a four-pound weight reduction, the increased distance is unfavorable and a hold-up tactics are expected; however, its finishing kick may not be sufficient to challenge rivals, making it an unlikely contender despite securing an inside barrier and undergoing gate work.
