A previous barrier trial showed insufficient work had been done. Another turf trial over 1600m was undertaken; this time with a two-pound weight reduction. The horse has failed to place in three attempts at this distance, and rivals appear strong within the group, drawing an unfavorable outside barrier. Trainer-jockey combination appears strained, despite showing ability to track the pace.
