On March 25th, a turf trial over 1000m saw the horse travel mid-pack along the outside rail with a steady pace. Eight weeks ago, he ran a decent race over Sha Tin’s 1400m, jumping slowly and settling towards the back before making a move in the middle stages, chasing Last Kingdom. Following a short break, a barrier trial revealed a lack of progress. Now stepping up to Sha Tin over 1600m for the first time at this distance with a two-pound weight reduction, the plan is to race from behind; however, his finishing kick may not be strong enough to compete effectively, presenting an unfavorable situation despite the distance potentially suiting him and making him a longshot contender.
