On March 11th (dirt trial 1200m: 5-5-4), the horse showed strong eagerness amongst a crowded field. On February 18th (dirt trial 1200m: 1-1-2) it took an active approach, but was overtaken near the finish. A turf trial at Conghua on March 24th over 800m saw it positioned towards the front, though its movement appeared slightly immature. This is the horse’s debut as a new winner; it began training in Hong Kong in early November last year. It has completed three barrier trials this season, showing gradual improvement. Its leg action is high and slow to land, but possesses early speed, suggesting suitability for 1400m. However, its acceleration isn't particularly strong. For this debut race, a favourable barrier draw with few fast starters could provide an opportunity to lead if it jumps cleanly.
