A recent winner four weeks ago over the same distance, it delivered an excellent performance, jumping moderately before settling towards the rear and finishing strongly in the final two sections to win. Its subsequent barrier trial showed slight improvement. This time it needs to carry 5 pounds more and has a proven record at this distance, currently holding the best time amongst its group rivals. Drawing an inside barrier, a hold-up tactic is expected with a strong finishing kick anticipated as the best in its class. The horse appears to have a significant advantage over other contenders, enjoys a good rapport with both jockey and trainer, and is well-prepared for another victory.
