Having recently completed a dirt trial over 1200m (sections: 5-4-3), the horse was slightly slow to break but finished third after a quiet run down the straight. Three weeks ago, it delivered an outstanding performance over Sha Tin’s 1200m turf, jumping moderately and settling towards the rear before finishing strongly in the final two sections with fast times. A subsequent barrier trial showed slight improvement. Now stepping up to 1400m on turf without a weight reduction and drawing an outside barrier presents a challenging scenario, however, given its likely hold-up tactics and strong finishing kick, a placing is not out of the question.
