On February 27th (dirt trial 1200m: 5-5-5), he was ridden along the bend with little change in pace. On March 15th (Happy Valley turf trial 1200m: 3-3-3), he was strongly urged on the straight to regain second position. On February 28th (dirt trial 1050m: 4-5-5), he received urging after two furlongs with limited improvement. On March 21st (turf trial 800m: 7-6-8) he was lightly ridden after two furlongs, showing no acceleration. This is his debut as a new horse; he began training in Hong Kong at the end of December last year. He’s had five barrier trials this season with slight improvement. Surprisingly, AI algorithms suggest he could be a significant factor in the race.
