On March 21st, a dirt trial over 1200m saw the horse finish (5-5-10), showing weakness when asked for an effort. On March 7th, a turf trial at Conghua over 1200m saw a slightly slow start and only moderate response to urging in the straight. A further turf trial at Conghua on February 10th over 1000m showed a stumbling start and the horse remained at the back throughout. Prior to March, a race over the same distance was poor, with a slow break and a trailing position maintained with an even pace but no finishing kick. After a short break, three barrier trials have not demonstrated improvement. This time, carrying a two-pound weight reduction, facing a time difference within its group, it faces unfavorable conditions; even with a good draw and potential to track the pace, chances appear slim.
