On March 27th (dirt trial 1200m: 3-4-5), the horse showed little enthusiasm during the three-turn exercise. On March 14th (Happy Valley turf trial 1200m: 4-5-5), it was hampered when making a 200m dash and didn't run at full capacity. A Conghua turf trial over 800m on February 28th saw the horse improve positions within the pack, appearing eager to perform. Prior to March, in a Sha Tin turf mile race, the performance was subpar; a slow start left it trailing the field with a consistent pace but unable to respond when challenged, finishing fifth beaten by two and a half lengths. After a short break, three barrier trials didn’t show significant improvement. Now stepping onto Happy Valley's 1200m track for the first time, carrying an additional one pound this race, the distance appears suitable with a favorable draw. Expected to settle back in the field before unleashing a strong finishing kick, the horse is considered the strongest contender in this event and is expected to show its true potential.
