Five weeks ago, over the same distance, it ran a solid race, breaking slowly and settling towards the rear before finishing strongly for second place, beaten by half a length. A recent barrier trial was considered insufficient work. This time, the horse is required to carry four pounds more and has drawn poorly. A hold-up tactics are anticipated but its finishing speed may not match rivals, making the situation less favorable. However, with four wins from 25 starts at this distance, comparable times within the group, and a good rapport between horse, jockey and trainer, an upset is possible.
