A subsequent trial at Happy Valley over 1200m sees the horse racing without any added weight. While the time difference within its group isn't ideal, the barrier draw is favorable. The horse has shown an ability to track the pace-setters and maintain position, enjoys a good gate, and the jockey has some familiarity with the animal; trainer and jockey are in reasonable accord, and no specific strategy appears evident.
