On March 20th, a dirt trial over 1200m at Conghua saw the horse travel second along the rail at a steady pace. Prior to that, in early March over Sha Tin’s 1600m, the performance was underwhelming; it settled nicely tracking the leaders with an even tempo but lacked a strong finish. Following a short break, a barrier trial yielded moderate results. Another test over 1400m on turf sees the horse race without any additional weight this time. Having performed well over this distance previously and with comparable times to its group rivals, it has the potential for an early lead. Although drawing an outside barrier presents a disadvantageous position, a clean break and commitment to leading could see it improve.
