Five weeks ago, this horse ran a respectable race over a Happy Valley mile, settling in a good position tracking the leaders and showing strong acceleration in the middle stages. A recent dirt trial over 1200m (sections recorded as 5-5-2) saw the horse track along the rail with moderate effort. Another turf trial over 1200m was completed with slight improvement noted. This time, the horse needs to carry four pounds more and faces tough competition within its group; despite drawing an inside barrier, opportunities appear limited.
