On March 6th, a dirt trial over 1200m saw the horse positioned well around the bend, gradually moving forward (recorded positions: 4-3-2). On February 14th, during a turf trial at Conghua over 1200m, it broke quickly but struggled to maintain the lead, responding to urging from the jockey. A run over this same distance in March was poor; a slow start saw the horse settle towards the rear before making a mid-race move which ultimately faded, resulting in a significant defeat. Two barrier trials since have shown some improvement. This time with a 2lb weight reduction and facing unfavorable competition within its group, the situation is challenging. However, if able to secure a good position tracking the leaders and showing improved work leading up to the race, it may be worth considering as an outsider.
