On March 7th, during a Conghua turf trial over 1000m, the horse showed good strides and led throughout. Six weeks ago, in a race over the same distance, it performed well, settling in a good position tracking the leaders with a strong forward momentum to finish third, beaten by half a length. A subsequent barrier trial indicated slight improvement. This time, the horse has a three-pound weight reduction, has previously won twice over this distance, and the competition within its group appears reasonable. Drawing a favorable barrier, it's expected to track the pace; trainer and jockey are in agreement regarding tactics. Morning workouts suggest continued progress, and with a clean break, the horse is expected to be competitive for a forward position.
