On March 21st, the horse recorded a strong dirt trial over 1050m (sections: 1-1-1), taking an active approach and running straight to the finish. On March 6th, another dirt trial over 1050m saw him slightly held back in the second section but with a good response (sections: 3-3-4). Six weeks ago, over the same distance, he ran well, despite a slow start and settling towards the rear. He finished strongly to take second place, beaten by half a length. Two barrier trials have shown improvement. This time receiving a three-pound weight relief, his timing within the group is favorable, and the barrier draw is good. However, a hold-up tactic may be employed, but his finishing speed might not match rivals making his chances uncertain; aiming for a place.
