March 20th, the horse completed a dirt trial at Conghua over 1200m with sections of 4-4-3, performing steadily and competently. Five weeks ago, it ran a moderate race over 2000m on the Sha Tin turf, jumping slowly and settling towards the back before making a move in the middle stages but failing to sustain the effort. A subsequent barrier trial was satisfactory. After relocating to Hong Kong, the horse will again run on the Sha Tin turf over 1600m this time with a three-pound weight reduction. Having previously secured three wins at this distance and showing good times amongst its group, if prepared well it has shown signs of recovery. Despite drawing an outside barrier, a hold-up tactic is likely; however, its finishing kick may not be sufficient to match rivals, presenting a challenging situation with limited chances.
