Five weeks ago, it ran a moderate race on Sha Tin turf over 2000m, with a slow start and settling back in the field, showing some acceleration mid-race but failing to sustain it to the finish. Two barrier trials have shown slight improvement. Making its Hong Kong debut, it will now race again on Sha Tin turf over 1600m, benefiting from a three-pound weight reduction. Having secured two wins at this distance previously and with good form within the field, a hold-up tactic is expected to showcase its strong finishing kick – considered the best among its rivals.
