Five weeks ago, over Sha Tin turf at 1400m, the horse performed well despite a slow start, settling towards the rear before accelerating in the final two sections with good time, finishing fourth and beaten by only two lengths—a respectable showing. Two barrier trials have been completed without fully extending. This import is stepping back onto the Sha Tin turf over 1600m, carrying an additional two pounds this time. It boasts four wins from twelve starts at this distance, has a good intermediate time, should be able to secure a forward position, and draws an advantageous inside barrier. Showing a strong finishing kick, its current form is positive, and based on ability it appears superior to the competition. The trainer and jockey have a solid rapport and the horse is undergoing vigorous training indicating clear intent.
