Four weeks ago, the horse ran a respectable race in a straight course event, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear before showing a strong late run. Switching to Sha Tin over 1200m for its first attempt at this distance, it benefits from a two-pound weight reduction this time. The plan is again to settle back in the field, however, its finishing kick may not be sufficient against rivals. While the current circumstances aren’t ideal, the distance appears suitable and the horse is expected to perform well.
