On March 21st, the horse recorded a dirt trial over 1200m with sectionals of 2-2-9, tracking the pace for two sections before tiring in the straight. On March 7th, a turf trial at Conghua over 1200m saw him track the leaders and run freely but lacked full concentration. A further Conghua turf trial on February 28th over 1000m showed him settling comfortably and finishing strongly. However, a trial on February 10th over 1000m saw him fall behind the field and perform below expectations. This is his debut run as a new horse, having commenced training in Hong Kong at the end of October last year. Four barrier trials this season haven’t demonstrated improvement. He has a low stride and early speed, suitable for short distances but lacks stamina and tends to tire easily. Given it's his first race start, it’s advisable to observe one run before making further assessments.
