Seven days ago, over a Happy Valley 1200m, the horse performed respectably, settling in a good position tracking the leaders at a steady pace. It was overtaken by Laser Soar to finish third, beaten only half a length – demonstrating decent form. Running again within two weeks, this time stepping onto dirt for a mile, the horse will carry 11 pounds more this race. Its sectional times are good, and it’s expected to be held up in midfield with a strong finishing kick, potentially the best amongst its rivals. The trainer and jockey have a solid partnership; despite drawing an outside barrier which isn't ideal, it is considered an outsider.
