Two weeks ago, this horse delivered a standout performance over Sha Tin’s 1600m, jumping moderately and settling towards the back before accelerating strongly in the final two sections. Having recently trialed on dirt over 1800m, he will carry three pounds less this time but faces a distance that doesn't suit. Drawn an outside barrier, a hold-up strategy is expected; however, his finishing kick may not be competitive against rivals, making his chances unfavorable and the race more of a trial run.
