March 20th, a dirt trial at Conghua over 1200m saw the horse urged forward to maintain pace. Its last run over a long-distance Happy Valley race was underwhelming; a slow start forced it to settle towards the rear, ultimately resulting in a significant defeat despite attempting to rally. A subsequent barrier trial showed only moderate performance. Another dirt trial over 1800m has been completed and this time the horse benefits from a two-pound weight reduction but faces an unfavourable outside draw. Fortunately, it appears to be competing against slower rivals which should allow it to secure a good position tracking the leaders; further observation is warranted.
