A recent barrier trial on March 14th over 1700m at Happy Valley (recorded as 2-2-2-2) saw the horse break awkwardly and require urging to maintain second position. Its last outing, over a similar distance, was disappointing; a slow start left it trailing throughout with no significant improvement in pace. A subsequent trial showed slight progression. This time facing a 4lb hike in handicap, looks unfavourable. However, given solid times within its group, an upset is possible and could attract each-way support.
