This Irish PP (MA288, predicted rating of 49) has shown moderate form in barrier trials. Recent heats saw a slow start and unremarkable response over 1050m on dirt {11/3}, finishing (3-4-7). A subsequent dirt trial {25/2} saw the horse lead but without significant advantage, running (1-1-2). Turf trials at Conghua {10/2 & 20/1} revealed a slightly awkward start and ordinary performance respectively, recording positions of (3-3-5) and (4-4-6). Having raced eight times overseas with only two wins in lower-grade races, this horse appears to have limited ability. Its best running style is likely over a short distance or leading the field. While five trials this season haven't fully prepared it, the sheer number of fast horses entered makes it difficult to secure an easy lead in this race.
