A recent dirt trial over 1200m on {11/3} saw the horse travel wide throughout, showing a respectable pace. Five weeks prior, it delivered a strong performance over 1600m on the Sha Tin turf, settling back from an average break before finishing with two fast sections. A subsequent turf trial over 1400m resulted in a solid effort, now requiring a 2lb rise in weight. The horse finished well within its group and appears to have strong late speed. With Joao Moreira taking the reins, there’s a good understanding between jockey and horse, with trainer also showing confidence – considered a leading contender.
