The horse recently trialed well at Conghua turf over 1000m on July 3rd, showing good acceleration from mid-race and finishing strongly – recording positions of 9th, 6th, and 1st. Last start, over a mile at Happy Valley, it broke slowly and settled towards the rear, maintaining a steady pace before being urged forward by Karis Teetan; ultimately finishing within three and a half lengths of the winner. A subsequent trial showed slight improvement. Another turf trial over 1200m at Sha Tin was completed, with the horse receiving a five-pound weight relief for this race. Despite three previous attempts over this distance resulting in defeats, it drew an outside barrier which presents a challenging scenario and is expected to race from the back of the field. While comparable to horses in its class, opportunities appear limited.
