A recent dirt trial over 1200m on {13/3} saw the horse settling mid-pack early, before making gradual headway along the rail in the straight, finishing (6-7-3). Last start, over 1200m on the Sha Tin turf, the performance was underwhelming; after securing a good position tracking the leaders, it lacked a strong finish. A subsequent barrier trial demonstrated some improvement. This time stepping up to 1400m on the turf with a 2lb weight drop, the distance increase appears favorable. The horse is expected to track the pace-setters and should be able to challenge for a forward position. Jockey and trainer maintain a good working relationship, and a clean break should see it finish among the leading contenders.
