This gelding recently trialled over 1200m on the dirt (4/3), finishing mid-pack (8th, then improving to 6th and 4th). He showed some late momentum but wasn't overly impressive. His last run saw him compete over a similar distance, where he broke slowly and settled towards the rear. Despite this, he finished within three and a half lengths of the winner with a strong finishing burst. Given a two-pound weight drop and a favorable draw, connections are optimistic about his chances despite an unremarkable trial performance. The horse appears to have a solid constitution and benefits from a potentially suitable jockey/trainer pairing.
