ODE TO JOY began awkwardly and bumped the inside of its gate. ACCELERANDO shifted in at the start and brushed PAKISTAN FRIEND. Shortly after the start, ROYAL PRIDE was crowded for room inside TOYCOON after being bumped by FOREVER GLORIOUS which was racing tight outside LIFELIFE VISION. After this, ROYAL PRIDE was steadied to obtain cover. From the outside barrier, RING BELLS was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. TURQUOISE ALPHA was also steadied shortly after the start to obtain cover. Near the 1550 Metres, ODE TO JOY was crowded for room between PAKISTAN FRIEND and OSCAR GLORY which lay out when being ridden along to obtain a forward position. Approaching the 1100 Metres, LIFELINE VISION got its head up when travelling keenly and awkwardly placed behind EZRA. ACCELERANDO got its head on the side and lay out making the turn after the 900 Metres and was awkwardly placed inside the heels of ODE TO JOY. Throughout the race, KASI FARASI travelled wide and without cover and was then taken wider by ODE TO JOY which shifted out passing the 600 Metres. RING BELLS was held up for clear running after the 200 Metres and then had difficulty obtaining clear running over the concluding stages. Passing the 50 Metres, ARTHUR’S KINGDOM was shifted out away from the heels of SHANGHAI DRAGON. A veterinary inspection of TOYCOON, LIFELINE VISION and KASI FARASI immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. TURQUOISE ALPHA, ACCELERANDO and OSCAR GLORY were sent for sampling.
