FEARLESS FIRE stumbled at the start and then was bumped by SEATTLE CHOICE which shifted in.
CIRCUIT STELLAR also stumbled on jumping. After this, CIRCUIT STELLAR was steadied to obtain cover from a wide barrier.
REGENCY BO BO and GOLD MARQUIS were shifted across behind runners from wide barriers to obtain cover.
After travelling a short distance, DUBLIN STAR was hampered when crowded for room outside PERFECT PAIR which was taken out by GOLDEN LINK.
After being steadied and shifted across behind runners from the outside barrier in the early stages, BEAUTY LIVE was ridden along passing the 1300 Metres to improve its position inside runners. BEAUTY LIVE was then checked away from the heels of HEZA BEAUTY passing the 1200 Metres.
Passing the 1300 Metres, DUBLIN STAR raced tight inside CIRCUIT STELLAR which, when improving inside the heels of PERFECT PAIR, was taken in by that horse.
After the 1200 Metres, PERFECT PAIR was left racing wide and without cover and was then allowed to improve its position to race outside the lead after the 900 Metres at which time FEARLESS FIRE was left racing wide and without cover.
Passing the 1100 Metres, PRIVATE ROCKET commenced to travel keenly and was awkwardly placed behind GOLDEN LINK.
GOLDEN LINK got its head up approaching and passing the 1000 Metres. Then after being crossed by PERFECT PAIR, GOLDEN LINK again got its head up near the 700 Metres when racing close to the heels of that horse. PRIVATE ROCKET, which was following GOLDEN LINK, shifted out away from the heels of that horse and consequently raced tight with CIRCUIT STELLAR which was taken wider and without cover.
FEARLESS FIRE lay out rounding the Home Turn.
HEZA BEAUTY had some difficulty obtaining clear running in the early part of the Straight.
Near the 350 Metres, GOLD MARQUIS was shifted out a number of horses to obtain clear running and passing the 300 Metres bumped REGENCY BO.
BEAUTY LIVE was held up for clear running until after the 300 Metres.
In the Straight, GOLDEN LINK lay un under pressure.
A veterinary inspection of PRIVATE ROCKET and GOLDEN LINK immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
BEAUTY LIVE and PERFECT PAIR were sent for sampling.
