TRANSCENDENT, which was fractious in the barriers, began awkwardly, bumped the inside of its barrier stall and lost ground. TRANSCENDENT was then hampered by WISHFUL THINKER which shifted out.
SIGHT SUCCESS began awkwardly and stumbled on jumping.
DECRYPT was crowded for room shortly after the start between SIGHT SUCCESS and HARMONY FIRE which was racing tight inside KEEP YOU WARM.
From the outside barrier, GOOD LUCK FRIEND was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Approaching and passing the 800 Metres, WINNING METHOD travelled keenly and was awkwardly placed close to the heels of HARMONY FIRE which after the 800 Metres was left racing wide and without cover.
Passing the 300 Metres, DROPS OF GOD shifted in towards the running rail and became unbalanced.
After the 300 Metres, as SCORES OF FUN improved into tight running inside SIGHT SUCCESS, SIGHT SUCCESS shifted in, resulting in SCORES OF FUN being taken in and bumping DROPS OF GOD passing the 200 Metres.
Also after the 300 Metres, SPARKLING DRAGON was shifted to the inside of BE READY.
Over the final 75 Metres, SPARKLING DRAGON was unable to obtain clear running and consequently was not able to be tested over the concluding stages.
A veterinary inspection of HARMONY FIRE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
SCORES OF FUN and DROPS OF GOD were sent for sampling.
