LIKE THAT and SCORES OF FUN bumped at the start. SHINY ONE began only fairly. From the outside barrier, CARROLL STREET was steadied and shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After travelling a short distance, YO BEAUTY shifted out and bumped SUPER DOBBIN which was taken out onto SPONTANEOUS which was inconvenienced. Approaching the 1100 Metres, EXUBERANT was awkwardly placed outside GOODLUCK GOODLUCK which shifted out. Passing the 1000 Metres, SUPER DOBBIN was awkwardly placed close to the heels of SPONTANEOUS. After the 900 Metres, SPONTANEOUS was left racing wide and without cover. Making the turn after the 600 Metres, CARROLL STREET raced tight outside NEARLY FINE which shifted to the outside of SUPER DOBBIN. Near the 450 Metres, NEARLY FINE raced close to the heels of SUPER DOBBIN which shifted out marginally. Passing the 300 Metres, SUPER DOBBIN raced tight inside EXUBERANT which shifted in. Near the 250 Metres, SPONTANEOUS and SCORES OF FUN raced tight. Close to the finishing line, GOODLUCK GOODLUCK raced tight inside YO BEAUTY which shifted in. A veterinary inspection of QUADRUPLE DOUBLE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. WOOD ON FIRE and LIKE THAT were sent for sampling.
