SOLAR POWER was slow to begin and then lost its left front plate on jumping. After this, SOLAR POWER was aggressively ridden along for some distance to obtain a forward position. After the race, A Hamelin stated that SOLAR POWER’s failure to finish off the race was attributable to the manner in which it began and the use of the horse which then had to be made to overcome its poor start. A veterinary inspection of SOLAR POWER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Before being allowed to race again, SOLAR POWER will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test. FLYING MIGHTY began only fairly. CITY LEGEND shifted in at the start and bumped EMERALD SPUR. A short distance after the start, MAGIC SUPREME lost ground when crowded for room between BREEZE OF SPRING and TURQUOISE ALPHA (A Badel) which shifted in after beginning awkwardly. A Badel was advised to ensure that he makes every endeavour to keep his mounts on a straight course wherever possible. In this incident, BREEZE OF SPRING became unbalanced after being bumped on the hindquarters by MAGIC SUPREME. This incident resulted in MAGIC SUPREME having to be ridden back in the field. From the outside barriers, SUPER MISSION, GENERAL WINNER and JIANGXI STAMINA were all shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After the 1000 Metres, TURQUOISE ALPHA was left racing wide and without cover. Making the turn after the 900 Metres, MAGIC SUPREME got its head up when awkwardly placed close to the heels of BLAZING BEAT. At the same time, CITY LEGEND got its head up when travelling close to the heels of BREEZE OF SPRING. SOLAR POWER lay out rounding the Home Turn. After the 200 Metres, FLYING MIGHTY was shifted to the outside of JIANGXI STAMINA to obtain clear running. HARMONY WIN WIN and BREEZE OF SPRING were sent for sampling. <11/10/2021 Additional Veterinary Reports>The Veterinary Surgeon reported that GENERAL WINNER was lame in its left hind leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, GENERAL WINNER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. The Veterinary Officer reported that SUNNY BABY was lame in its right front leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, SUNNY BABY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
