As the start was effected, SAVAQUIN put its head down, resulting in the horse losing considerable ground. Before being allowed to race again, SAVAQUIN will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test. SOLAR WAI WAI shifted out at the start and bumped STAR SHINE. MASTER MONTARO bounded in the air on jumping away and in doing so bumped the inside gate of its barrier stall. SUPER OASIS shifted out at the start and bumped REEL BIZZY which in turn shifted out and bumped THE ROCK. From wide barriers, PRECIOUSSHIP, GENERAL’S DELIGHT, SUPER FOOTBALL and FLAGSHIP GLORY were all shifted across behind runners in the early stages. MASTER MONTARO travelled keenly passing the 1500 Metres when awkwardly placed behind SUPER OASIS. Approaching and passing the 1200 Metres, BEAUTY SMILE travelled very keenly. Near the 1000 Metres, TIANCHI MONSTER was left racing wide and without cover. SUPER FOOTBALL lost its right front plate near the 950 Metres. MASTER MONTARO made the turn after the 900 Metres awkwardly and shifted out, inconveniencing FLAGSHIP GLORY. Passing the 350 Metres, PRECIOUSSHIP and THE ROCK raced tight. Approaching the 300 Metres, STAR SHINE raced tight inside SOLAR WAI WAI which got its head on the side and shifted in when commencing to give ground. Then approaching the 200 Metres, SOLAR WAI WAI, which was continuing to give ground, was steadied when unable to maintain its position between STAR SHINE and PRECIOUSSHIP which continued to race tight inside THE ROCK. Also approaching the 300 Metre, REEL BIZZY was shifted out away from the heels of TIANCHI MONSTER which was taken out by BEAUTY SMILE which shifted out marginally. Passing the 300 Metres, FLAGSHIP GLORY and SUPER FOOTBALL bumped. After the race, C Schofield stated that although FLAGSHIP GLORY travelled in a three wide position, the horse at all times had cover. He said after shifting his mount out in the Straight, FLAGSHIP GLORY then finished off the race satisfactorily. A veterinary inspection of FLAGSHIP GLORY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. A veterinary inspection of SOLAR WAI WAI immediately following the race found that horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, SOLAR WAI WAI will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection of MASTER MONTARO and SUPER FOOTBALL immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. FLAGSHIP GLORY, RELIABLE TEAM and BEAUTY SMILE were sent for sampling.
