FOODIE PRINCESS, Standby Declared Starter, was withdrawn on 19.12.20 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left hind). Before being allowed to race again, FOODIE PRINCESS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. UNIVERSAL HERO was slow to begin. SUPER POWER MAN began awkwardly, made contact with the outside of its barrier and then shifted in, resulting in SUPER ALLIANCES being checked when crowded onto ALL FOR SOUTH which was also inconvenienced. Throughout the race, SUPER POWER MAN travelled wide and without cover. After the race, V Borges stated that ENSHRINED never travelled well and came under heavy pressure mid-race to maintain its position. A veterinary inspection of ENSHRINED immediately following the race found that horse to have an intermittent displacement of the soft palate. The performance of ENSHRINED, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, ENSHRINED will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection of FLASHCARD immediately following the race including an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of mucus in the horse’s trachea. A veterinary inspection of UNIVERSAL HERO immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. SUPER POWER MAN, ALL FOR SOUTH and BIZ POWER were sent for sampling.
