SPARKLING KNIGHT was withdrawn on 3.10.20 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore). Before being allowed to race again, SPARKLING KNIGHT will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. On arrival at the Start, BALTIC SUCCESS was found to have a small wound on the left hind cannon. BALTIC SUCCESS was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said that after the necessary consultations the horse was suitable to race. LIKE THAT lost ground when crowded for room on jumping between FLYING ON THE TURF and SEVEN HEAVENS which shifted in. Approaching the 900 Metres, GOOD VIEW CLARICO shifted out and made contact with FABULOUS EIGHT. Passing the 800 Metres, LIKE THAT shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of SEVEN HEAVENS, causing both horses to become unbalanced. Passing the 400 Metres, PRINCE OF GEMS raced tight outside CRUISING which in turn was shifted out away from the heels of FABULOUS EIGHT. After the race, B Shinn expressed concern regarding the action of VALIANT DREAM. He said the horse, which is well-known to him, did not travel as strongly today as it had previously when ridden by him and then failed to finish off the race. A veterinary inspection of VALIANT DREAM immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Before being allowed to race again, VALIANT DREAM will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection of WAR OF COURAGE and CUE THE MUSIC immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. CRUISING and PRINCE OF GEMS were sent for sampling.
