CINQUANTE CINQ was withdrawn on 12.5.20 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (swollen right hind fetlock) and was replaced by Standby Declared Starter GOOD OMEN (Z Purton). Before being allowed to race again, CINQUANTE CINQ will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. BLASTOISE shifted out at the start and inconvenienced GOLDEN SPECTRUM. DYNAMIC EAGLE began very awkwardly and shortly after the start was shifted across behind runners from a wide barrier. From the outside barriers, STIMULATION and DIVINE UNICORN were steadied in the early stages to obtain cover. In the early stages, VINCY was steadied to obtain cover. After being ridden along for a considerable distance in the early stages, BEAUTY HAPPY was steadied away from the heels of GOOD OMEN (Z Purton) which shifted in approaching the winning post on the first occasion. Z Purton was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances. When being steadied away from the heels of GOOD OMEN, BEAUTY HAPPY shifted in and made contact with ACCLAIMED LIGHT. BEAUTY HAPPY was then left racing wide and without cover until passing the 1100 Metres. Passing the winning post on the first occasion, GOLDEN SPECTRUM momentarily raced tight inside ABOVE which shifted in. After the 1100 Metres, DYNAMIC EAGLE commenced to travel keenly. After the race, J Moreira reported that ABOVE came under pressure after the 500 Metres and then finished off the race only one-paced in the Straight. A veterinary inspection of ABOVE immediately following the race including an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of mucus in the horse’s trachea. A veterinary inspection of ACCLAIMED LIGHT and STIMULATION immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. WORLD FAMOUS, BEAUTY HAPPY and BLASTOISE were sent for sampling. <14/5/2020 Additional Veterinary Report>STIMULATION, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. STIMULATION was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer A S Cruz this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, STIMULATION will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
