ACCLAIMED LIGHT shifted out at the start and bumped FAITHFUL TRINITY which then shifted out, resulting in GONNA RUN being checked. NEW ELEGANCE began only fairly. From wide barriers, NAMJONG PLUS, GOLD LAND and FIAMA were shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After the 1200 Metres, FAITHFUL TRINITY was left racing wide and without cover. At the entrance to the Straight, NAMJONG PLUS was awkwardly placed inside the heels of DYNAMIC EAGLE and then passing the 400 Metres was shifted out away from the heels of KING OF MONGOLIA as that horse shifted out when giving ground. Near the 250 Metres, ACCLAIMED LIGHT was momentarily held up for clear running behind KING OF MONGOLIA and NAMJONG PLUS. Over the final 100 Metres, NEW ELEGANCE got its head on the side and lay in under pressure. Passing the 100 Metres, UNICRON JEWELLERY was directed out away from the heels of NAMJONG PLUS due to both horses shifting ground. When UNICRON JEWELLERY shifted out, FAITHFUL TRINITY, which was following, was awkwardly placed close to the heels of that horse and consequently was not able to be ridden out over the concluding stages. The performance of KING OF MONGOLIA, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, KING OF MONGOLIA will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection of DYNAMIC EAGLE and KING OF MONGOLIA immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. GLORIOUS FOREVER and TRAVEL FIRST were sent for sampling.
