RACING SUPERNOVA was withdrawn on 12.6.18 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore foot) and was replaced by Standby Declared Starter SEVEN HEAVENS (A Sanna). Before being allowed to race again, RACING SUPERNOVA will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
ATTENTION shifted in at the start and bumped ARCHIPPUS. Then from wide barriers, ATTENTION and ARCHIPPUS were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
MY ALLY and SEVEN HEAVENS bumped heavily at the start.
Despite being ridden along in the early stages, SUPER FLUKE failed to muster speed and then near the 1150 Metres was shifted out away from the heels of SOLOMON’S BAY when that horse was taken out by FORTUNE BO BO.
BREEDERS’ STAR was steadied in the early stages to obtain cover.
After the 750 Metres, WAH MAY FRIEND was ridden along to prevent E-SUPER from shifting in. Despite this, E-SUPER was able to assume the position in front of WAH MAY FRIEND approaching the 600 Metres. SOLOMON’S BAY, which was following, was steadied away from the heels of WAH MAY FRIEND in consequence.
After the 500 Metres, ALMABABY was bumped and taken wider by SOLOMON’S BAY which shifted out to improve.
BREEDERS’ STAR had some difficulty obtaining clear running in the early part of the Straight.
SUPER FLUKE lost its left front plate after the race.
HOT KING PRAWN and SEVEN HEAVENS were sent for sampling.
