On arrival at the Start, A Sanna expressed concern regarding the action of ELUSIVE STATE. ELUSIVE STATE was examined by the Veterinary Officer who, after the necessary consultations, said in his opinion it was suitable to race.
EASY HEDGE began awkwardly and hit the outside of its gate on jumping.
ELUSIVE STATE began awkwardly.
Making the turn after the 1200 Metres, AMAZING FEELING and ELUSIVE STATE raced tight.
Rounding the Home Turn, CURLING LUXURY and QUICK RETURN raced tight as QUICK RETURN shifted out from behind SPICY KAKA to obtain clear running.
Passing the 200 Metres, DEJA VU raced tight outside CHATER THUNDER.
Throughout the race, CURLING LUXURY travelled wide and without cover.
After the race, T Berry stated that SPICY KAKA did not feel comfortable in its action and in particular felt sore in the left front leg. A veterinary inspection of SPICY KAKA immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Before being allowed to race again, SPICY KAKA will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
QUICK RETURN, CHATER THUNDER and BEAUTY CONNECTION were sent for sampling.
