SUPER EURO STAR began awkwardly and then was bumped by E MASTER which shifted out. From wide barriers, TORNEY and SNOW HAWK were shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Despite being vigorously ridden along in the early stages, SIGHT SEEING failed to muster speed. After initially being ridden along in the early stages, E MASTER was steadied approaching the 1100 Metres to obtain a position with cover. When being steadied in an attempt to obtain cover, AMBITIOUS HEART got its head up for some distance approaching and passing the 1000 Metres. Then after the 900 Metres, AMBITIOUS HEART was left racing wide and without cover. Approaching the 900 Metres, VITAL SPRING commenced to travel keenly and then passing the 800 Metres got its head up when racing ungenerously and having to be checked away from the heels of ENJOY LIFE. After the 800 Metres, SIGHT SEEING commenced to travel keenly and shifted out away from the heels of AMBITIOUS HEART. In the early part of the Straight, I’M A WITNESS was awkwardly placed inside the heels of AMBITIOUS HEART. HINYUEN SWIFTNESS was held up for clear running in the early part of the Straight. A veterinary inspection of E MASTER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. CONTE and AMBITIOUS HEART were sent for sampling.
