GOBI STORM and PEARL FURU bumped on jumping, PEARL FURU then shifted in and bumped HAPPY CENTURY.
NO LAUGHING MATTER, which began awkwardly, was crowded for room on jumping between AGIAAL and SPICY DOUBLE which shifted out.
From the outside barriers, NO LAUGHING MATTER, AGIAAL and DOUBLE POINT were steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.
At the entrance to the Straight, VICTORY FOLLOW ME shifted out and bumped ORIENTAL FANTASIA. VICTORY FOLLOW ME then got its head on the side, hung in under pressure in the Straight and proved difficult to ride.
Near the 250 Metres, NOTED PERFORMER shifted out away from the heels of VICTORY FOLLOW ME and bumped NEWSWIRE FREE.
VICTORY FOLLOW ME, SPICY DOUBLE and GOBI STORM were sent for sampling.
