STARLIT KNIGHT was slow to begin. TURF SPRINT shifted out at the start and bumped ACCLAIMED LIGHT. Shortly after the start, PRIMERO, which was racing tight outside ACCLAIMED LIGHT, was steadied away from the heels of ARM RUNDA (O Doleuze) which shifted in when not quite clear. O Doleuze was advised to exercise more care when shifting ground in similar circumstances. From a wide barrier, MR POTENTIAL was steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners. When being steadied to allow FANTASTIC EIGHT to cross near the 950 Metres, ARM RUNDA got its head up for some distance and proved difficult to settle. Near the 800 Metres, STARLIT KNIGHT momentarily raced tight inside WINNERS PIONEER which lay in away from PRIMERO. In the early part of the Straight, MR POTENTIAL got its head on the side and lay in under pressure. Over the final 200 Metres, FANTASTIC EIGHT and MARVEL TRIBE shifted out under pressure. Passing the 100 Metres, WHO DAT SINGA, which was closing off the race fairly, was awkwardly placed close to the heels of PRIMERO when racing tight inside MR POTENTIAL. WHO DAT SINGA was then shifted out away from the heels of PRIMERO near the 50 Metres. Throughout the race, TRAVEL EMPEROR travelled wide and without cover. A veterinary inspection of TURF SPRINT and TRAVEL EMPEROR immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. MARVEL TRIBE and FANTASTIC EIGHT were sent for sampling.
