ARM RUNDA and PERFECT CHOICE began only fairly. FIONESAY shifted out at the start and bumped MYTHICAL EMPEROR, resulting in both horses becoming unbalanced and FIONESAY shifting in and hampering WINNING FAITH. After this, from a wide barrier, WINNING FAITH was shifted across behind runners. JUMBO LUCK and STAR OF JOY bumped at the start. Making the first turn near the 900 Metres, ARM RUNDA commenced to prove difficult to settle and got its head up when being checked away from the heels of BRAVE LEGEND. TRAVEL DATUK was held up for clear running in the early part of the Straight. Near the 350 Metres, ARM RUNDA was shifted in away from the heels of HAIR TRIGGER. Throughout the race, MYTHICAL EMPEROR travelled wide and without cover and in the Straight gave ground. A veterinary inspection of MYTHICAL EMPEROR immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of MYTHICAL EMPEROR, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, MYTHICAL EMPEROR will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection of ARM RUNDA immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. JUMBO LUCK and TRAVEL DATUK were sent for sampling.
