EXPERTO CREDE, APPLAUSE and THE SUPREME were all steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners to obtain cover. Passing the 300 Metres, STAR OF JOY (S Clipperton) shifted in and bumped I’M A WITNESS which became unbalanced and shifted in and bumped CONVINCIBLE which also became unbalanced. S Clipperton was advised to ensure that he makes every endeavour to prevent his mounts from shifting ground and making unnecessary contact with other runners. In the Straight, THE SUPREME lay out under pressure. Throughout the race, STAR OF JOY travelled wide and without cover. CONVINCIBLE and THE SUPREME were sent for sampling.
